Pros and Cons

PROS

  • Have dedicated air/water channels to prevent leakage.

CONS

  • Requires a proprietary adapter.
  • The tip is bulky and thicker than all tips and also blocks the field of vision. The adapter for this syringe tip is also on of the largest, making the system the largest of all the tips.
  • Even though there are separate air/water channles, there may be leakage of water into the air chambers if not properly aligned with the notch on the adapter.
  • Tip is opaque, so user is unable to see if there is water in the air channels.

Pro-Tip® ADAPTER REQUIRED

CHARACTERISTICS:

  1. Tip is thicker than all other disposable tips and is among the shortest.
  2. Pro-Tip has two air channels.
  3. Pro-Tip has a slot that must align with the highlighted circle on the adapter, making insertion awkward.
  4. Tip is opaque, so user is unable to see if there is water in the air channels.
